A check-in app that helped employees feel safer during the pandemic
About this project
Kitchen Booking partnered with Imaginary Cloud to build a quick, easy tool that shows whether there's room in the office kitchen. We designed it through our product design process.
Result: Imaginary Cloud delivered newly designed, user-friendly interfaces for the app.

The Kitchen Booking app is designed to help users access meeting rooms and ensure that COVID-19 measures are being met by providing information on room occupancy and enabling users to check in and out of a room.
The app has two key features:
Check-in/out: This feature allows users to report their presence in a meeting room by checking in and out of the room. This helps to keep track of who has been in the room and when, which can be useful for contact tracing and monitoring room occupancy.
Occupancy status: The app provides information on the capacity and current occupancy status of each meeting room. This allows users to determine which rooms are available and choose the one that best meets their needs while also adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
Overall, the app offers a simple, user-friendly solution for managing meeting room usage and promoting safety during the pandemic.

We followed the Managed Project working model, which included our product-oriented UX/UI Designers and a Project Manager.
