About this project
Environmental Intellect (Ei) reached out to Imaginary Cloud to redesign and migrate their website to Webflow, better conveying the company's concept and improving user engagement. We delivered it through our product design process.
Result: With Ei's software, customers saved up to $200k by cutting engineering contractor costs and scaffold planning and verification costs.

Environment Intellect works in the refinery industry and believes that digital technology can make the operations, maintenance, and work of the process industry more efficient. Ei has spent over a decade working on the digitization approach, and its product combines powerful 3D visualization with integrated P&IDs and data.The company’s main goal is to challenge people, and its potential customers, to think outside the box, showing them the difference between working with and without its product.
Ei has two main purposes:
1. For the end users of their product, they are concerned with building the best and easiest way to use their digital tool. A tool that improves the work of plant workers, making it safer and more efficient;
2. For their customers, on the other hand, they are concerned with mapping, digitizing and supporting their assets with the best tool and approaches to achieve their goals safely, under budget, and ahead of schedule.

Ei partnered with Imaginary Cloud to improve their User Interface (UI) to a more technological look capable of matching Ei’s product as well as its mission. They were looking for:
• a look & feel capable of conveying the company’s concept and that highlighted the products’ technology, standing out among its competitors;
• improve engagement by reorganizing the content of the website, which translated in redesigning its overall information architecture and its page content hierarchy.
NEW PROJECT IN MIND? LET'S TALKduring the project
It was crucial that our team was able to align the user goals with the user journey and the brand’s look & feel; for this, we implemented our proprietary Product Design Process to ensure a truly user-centred experience that worked seamlessly. It consisted of 4 stages.

TECHNOLOGIES used

Both migration and implementation was done on Webflow.
Development of a module capable of automatically detecting and tagging specific objects in a 3D point cloud. A text detection feature (also in 3D) was later added.

Since Ei was looking for high technical expertise to improve their platform, we followed the Custom Development working model, which included our UX/UI Designers.
UX/UI Designers: Were responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with the platform. In this case, our trained designers designed and implemented the page on Webflow.
This project delivered an in-depth understanding of the customer persona and their interaction with the service.
