About this project
Fundspace wanted a web portal for reporting fund performance and other relevant data through an intuitive, user-friendly design. We built it through our product design process.
Result: The platform was chosen for a Silicon-Valley alike program in 2023, and IC was recognized as a Top Financial App Developer by Techreviewer.

FundSpace offers a suite of different financing options that cater to every company's need. Their main goal is to empower SMEs by unlocking capital through their multiple core products.
The Philippine company was chosen to complete the 917Ventures Accelerator Program by 500 Global, in 2023 as it was recognizedd as a fast-growing technology company. The program focused on markets where technology, innovation, and capital can unlock long-term value and drive economic growth.

Fundspace partnered with Imaginary Cloud to create the end-to-end product, from the funds creations by fund managers, to the reports consultation by investors. The main challenge was to design and build a data structure that worked for all funds.
NEW PROJECT IN MIND? LET'S TALKduring the project
We started by building a technical prototype that demonstrated that it was possible to design a datastore that could fit funds, funds of funds, funds of funds with several classes, etc.
It was crucial that our team was later able to align the user interface with the brand’s look & feel; for this, we implemented our proprietary Product Design Process to ensure a truly user-centred experience that worked seamlessly. It consisted of 4 stages.

TECHNOLOGIES used

Since we were building a complex system within a tight deadline, Ruby on Rails was our best choice.
To build some additional complex user interfaces after the MVP went live.
Used to perform complex integrations.

We followed the Dedicated Team working model, which included our product-oriented UX/UI Designers, Frontend Developers and a Project Manager. This way, we were able to provide Fundspace with a development team fit to their needs, able to work independently, and fully integrated with their own team and processes.
UX/UI Designers: Responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of all the experiences a user has when interacting with the platform.
Front-end Developers: Responsible for ensuring that the platform’s users can easily interact with it. They do this through the combination of design, technology and programming the platform’s appearance, as well as taking care of debugging.
This project delivered an in-depth understanding of the customer persona and their interaction with the service.
The new UI enable both fund managers and investors a much faster decision-making process.
The platform is highly rated by its users.
This project recognized Imaginary Cloud as one of the Top Financial App Developers by Techreviewer.
